Ok.. So I know this was brought up a bunch of times on the YFM350 forums, but I'm bring it up again.
I'm still seriously considering put'n a set of ASR 400ex lowers, and 2nd gen uppers on my 1st gen.
I was just curious if anyone has tried this yet? What kind of problems do the pros around here think I might run into doing this swap???

from every measurement i can find, you will be fine. your gonna want the +2+1 400ex lowers because that will actually be +2+0 on your first gen frame. if you get the +2+0 lowers it is actualy a +2+1 and your tierods wont clear the shock bodies.

There is only a benefit of you get the long travel arms in my opinion. Otherwise just get done plus two ASR or fullflight arms.

+2 400ex arms are+4 long travel arms on a warrior. Much better handling and ride quality.

what makes the 400ex arm long travel?

Not all of them are, Levi. If you look into them you'll find that some are some aren't. I believe it's the curvature of the arm and the shock mount placement that makes them long travel. This is b/c they require a much longer shock than what was used from the factory. Longer shock = more shock stroke = more travel & long travel is born.

Actually all 400 arms are lt, even the regular shock ones for the 400, they require16" shocks, the even longer travel ones require17-18" shocks depending on brand.

Yeah, I hadn't thought of it from Weston's perspective. They're all LT compared to the stuff for warriors. What I meant was that only some are sold as LT arms but they're considered LT over what the 400ex already has.
