Wow. Interesting thread. I'm 47 and I'm a Consumer Safety Inspector for the USDA. Worked for them for almost 23 years. Been wrenching on cars, bikes, quads, tractors, mowers and small engines all my life. Used to have a small engine shop out of my garage that took up all my evenings and weekends, but when we moved I quit that shit so I could have more time for other things (like actually riding). I too have a blended family. Wife's daughter is 30 with 3 kids(girl 10, girl 7 and boy 4). My daughter is 25 with a 4 yr old boy and a girl due this week.

I'm 37 years old. Married 13 yrs (damn I'm gettin old) 3 yr old son. I work for a company that armors SUVs. I run the armor/welding line of the shop but I have done everything from tearing them down to cleaning them up and everything in between. Shop gives me acces to plastic pulling machine, hardware, paint, welder and all the material I need to make my warrior my own!(and occasionally armor a truck or two)

I will be 18 in 6 months. I spend most of my time working at a plant farm, welding at school, home mechanic and tinkering with all of my toys and best of all shooting my guns.

I'm 32, an auto mechanic but I've done alot if stuff from collision repair, some plumbing to HVAC work, retail sales in a aftermarket hotrod parts store, line technician on Beechcraft airplanes and so on. Been married 11 years and have a beautiful wife and daughter....both of which can be a pain in my ass from time to time but I love em anyway. Can't say that I love what I do but it pays the bills. Not sure I've ever really found a job I'm in love with but I think it really has more to do with me than the work, I'm really not cut out for working for others and I'm like A.D.D our something, ours tough

33 year old, done about anything you can think of for jobs til I was laid off in 09. After not finding anything I decided it was time to go back to school. 2 yrs later I graduated as an Auto Tech with high honors and was instantly hired at a local dealers pre-driven lot. I worked at a buddys shop while I was in school and learned many a thing you dont get taught in school about the industry. Been married for 10 years, and with her for 16 years. Have 3 kids, a 9 year old son and twin 3 year old daughters, all of which are the reason I keep my hair short. Harder to pull out that way!!! LOL
