Hey I know that basement! Lol. Looks damn good. You've made a lot of progress since I left Saturday. Keep it up and it'll be running by this coming weekend. You have most of the big stuff done. Btw, when you put that 110lbs of engine in there, drap/tape as many old shirts or sheets around the frame so the engine won't scratch it to shit. And get the wife to help throw the bolts in while you hold the damn thing. I did a couple by myself and what a PITA! I gotta get those measurements off my 2nd gen roller so you can get those arms close.

Ok guys, unfortunately this is what happens when you use 400EX LT arms with YFZ 450X shocks on your Warrior. Way too damn low. The X shock measures 16-3/4" eye to eye, they initially will look ok till you load them and they show you their sag. I'm sure they would be fine to use with the standard 400 arms but not the LT's. In order to get this thing up where out belongs a YFZ 450R shock from a newer EFI YFZ will be what you need. They measure 18-1/4" eye to eye. I took the bolts out of the lower arms and placed the shock directly on top of the mount which raised it 1.5" roughly the length of the "R" shock. This is what it looks like with that. Keep in mind when looking at this that the shocks have not been loaded and are NOT sagging in this pic. Once the weight is on them I believe the "R" shock will be about right. Would I do this mod again? Hell no! It's been the biggest fucking headache you can imagine and I'm pretty much ready to sell all of this shit. I'm so disappointed and depressed over this shit that I may just give the hobby up and sell my bikes. Basically the point of this post is to help make sure some of you don't make the same mistake as me.

That sucks dude! Not gunna lie though the x shocks look sick sitting that low. I know it's not what you were going for but it still looks cool. Can you sell the x shocks and get some R shocks? Don't let this get you down bro you have done way to much work to let some shocks screw up your game. You will get it.

Yeah it does but that's without my fat ass and the fat ass that Yamaha calls an engine. I found and bought a set of shocks on Ebay last night. Not as pretty but they're in good shape and what I need. I'm going to have my friend powder em for me when I get back from Hatfield.
