So did you a little machining on that piston? Or just a highcomp piston?

Big ports don't always mean more HP on a Warrior/Raptor 350. Most of you don't have a big motor from what I have seen on here so far, maybe a few 400cc ,but if you want to try something different start off with a 350 Big Bear head and put the Warrior valves in it. You can open up the intake port a little to match the 36mm manifold. You will have higher compression because of the smaller chamber and higher velocity in the smaller ports. The biggest mistake I see on porting the Warrior heads is people hogging out the ports, but more so then that they screw up the ex port so it flows less then stock because they don't know where to take metal out and where not to touch. The Warriors have a few different casting and some of the ex ports are so far off you just about have to leave them along or you mess them up big time. Cool I for sure have one of them.. Maybe 2

Well, Mickey, would you still recommend a big bear head on a 348cc 12:1 JE piston? Or are the JE pistons closer to accurate on their compression ratios?
Im currently running a p&p warrior head, fcr39mm carb, white brothers 1905 (I dont remember the specs of my head) a custom header, gytr can, and one of my intakes with a open filter. Deck is .084" so i can safely run pump gas. (Useing stacked base gaskets.)
It runs great, its a screamer, just wondering your opinion.

I had no idea that the big bear head had a different chamber volume or smaller valves. I like the thinking of a higher velocity port with equivalent flow. Are we talking a port that flows with the same volume of a Warrior port?

i am very intrested in this! we do a ton of auto/motorcycle porting and polishing in the shop... if you hve pics i would love to share those with our shop matchinist so he knows what he is working with when he ports my head
